My backpack is the item I love and care about most. My family and I plan to go hiking for three days soon. It is imperative that the backpack and all of those gears are as light as possible.

Great tips! I’ve been trying to decide if my family of 5 will go the route of carry on only. I haven’t made the final decision yet, but it’s nice to know how other’s do it 🙂 By the time I write the blog post I imagine my nightmare of 10 suitcases coming true lol

I travel carry on only for work trips as they are only a day or too but we have never tried this out as a family!
